H\u00f6chsttemperatur heute 4 Grad! Dazu dauerhaft Sturmb\u00f6en. Die gut 30km kamen mir wie eine Ewigkeit vor! Jetzt bin ich ja auf dem Camino Frances unterwegs. Hier gibt es viele Pilger. Ich sehe am Tag um die 30. Leider ist die Einkaufst\u00fcten nicht viel besser. Viele kochen sich einfach Nudeln oder schnippeln Gem\u00fcse. Auch sehr beliebt ist die Fertigmahlzeit aus dem Becher. Auch hat die Freundlichkeit der Gastwirte und Herbergsbetreiber an Herzlichkeit verloren. Das Ganze wird den Geschmack den Massentourismus nicht los. Von N\u00e4chstenliebe oder Fr\u00f6mmigkeit ist hier nicht mehr viel zu sehen. Da war der Camino de Madrid von ganz anderer Natur. Jetzt liege ich in meinem Bett, das ich gl\u00fccklich bin zu haben, in einem sehr vollen, kalten und klammen Schlafsaal und warte lediglich darauf, dass der Schlaf mich umarmt. Today&#8217;s maximum temperature was 4 degrees Celsius! Plus, constant gusts of wind. The roughly 30km felt like an eternity to me! Now I&#8217;m on the Camino Franc\u00e9s. There are many pilgrims here. I see around 30 a day. Unfortunately, the quality of the grocery bags isn&#8217;t much better. Many simply cook noodles or chop vegetables. Also very popular is the ready-made meal in a cup. This seems quite sad to me, especially since Spain has so much to offer culinarily. Due to the many pilgrims, a new problem arises: accommodation is scarce. Many wake up early in the morning and go to the desired hostel, waiting outside the door for several hours to secure a spot. Also, the kindness of the innkeepers and hostel operators has lost its warmth. The whole thing can&#8217;t shake off the taste of mass tourism. There&#8217;s not much love or piety to be seen here anymore. The Camino de Madrid was of a completely different nature in that regard. Now I&#8217;m lying in my bed, grateful to have it, in a very crowded, cold, and damp dormitory, simply waiting for sleep to embrace me.
