Von Cercedilla nach Segovia
Heute waren es fast 30 km. Davon gefühlt 9 km nur bergauf! Höhenmeter insgesamt: 681. Für mich bisher die härteste Etappe. Der Aufstieg durch den Wald war sehr kalt und dunkel! Ich habe mich zweimal sehr erschrocken! Einmal habe ich eine vereinzelte Kuh getroffen, die ich erst auf den zweiten Blick wahrnahm. Das andere Mal hörte ich Geräusche hinter mir und erschrak furchtbar: Es waren drei spanische Wanderer! Zum Glück kein Bär oder Wolf!
Nun bin ich in Segovia, die Stadt mit det wunderschönen Kathedrale und creme mir meine Füße ein. Als ich in Madrid los bin, waren es noch 700 km. Jetzt sind es keine 600 km mehr. Es es fühlt sich sehr gut an, diese Herausforderung gemeistert zu haben!

From Cercedilla to Segovia
Today, it was almost 30 km, with about 7 km of it feeling like a constant uphill climb. For me, this has been the toughest stage so far. The ascent through the forest was very cold and dark! I got scared twice! Once, I encountered a lone cow, which I only noticed on the second glance. The other time, I heard noises behind me and got terribly frightened: it turned out to be three Spanish hikers, fortunately not a bear or a wolf. Now I’m in Segovia, the city with the beautiful cathedral, and I’m applying cream to my feet. When I started in Madrid, there were still 700 km ahead. Now, it’s less than 600 km. It feels very rewarding to have conquered this challenge!
