Von Alcazarén nach Simancas
Das Wetter heute war wunderbar! So konnte ich kaum im Bett liegen bleiben und bin am Ende viel zu weit gegangen! Morgen ist allerdings wirklich ein Tag zum Erholen. Ich habe mir ein Hotelzimmer in Simanka gebucht. Morgen haben die Geschäfte wieder geöffnet und ich kann meine Vorräte aufstocken und mich kulinarisch verwöhnen! Darauf freue ich mich sehr. Was der Weg mich bisher gelehrt hat: die Dinge neu schätzen zu lernen, die im Alltag selbstverständlich sind! Jede heiße Dusche, jeder Kaffee, ein frisches Bett, das auf einen wartet und die gute Gesellschaft der Freunde und der Familie. Dafür bin ich sehr dankbar.

From Alcazarén to Simancas
The weather today was wonderful! I couldn’t stay in bed and ended up walking much farther than I planned! Tomorrow is definitely a day to relax. I’ve booked a hotel room in Simancas. The shops will be open again tomorrow, so I can replenish my supplies and indulge myself in culinary delights! I’m really looking forward to that. What the journey has taught me so far is to appreciate the things that are taken for granted in everyday life! Every hot shower, every coffee, a fresh bed waiting for you, and the good company of friends and family. For that, I am very grateful.
